Artist Statement:
"Making art has always been an integral part of my life. From the time I was a child, I knew it was a tool, a way of channeling the world around me through my vision."
Lila Bacon is a master of fine art floral paintings. She loves to describe space by placing emphasis on the world around an object, rather than the object itself. It's the joy in this act of discovery that she is truly in love with.
Lila has been working primarily in acrylics for the past 18 years. She considers flowers to be her muse and the inspiration for most of her work.
