The 20 drawing series titled “Against All Odds” was focused on earth and the “dismal task of trying to save it – against all odds.” The series was released in October of 1989 and was published by Bebert House, Rotterdam in collaboration with Mera & Don Rubell.
Keith Haring is widely recognized as the leading artist of the New York East Village Art scene in the 1970s and ’80s. Haring is famous for his pop-art graffiti drawings, which had a cartoonish quality to them. Haring often used his work to explore political and social issues such as drug abuse, social discrimination, consumerism, and the HIV/AIDS crisis.
