These celestial charts/maps depict Saturn and respectively, Mars and Jupiter. Printed on one side only. These are authentic antique prints and not reproductions. Housed in black wooden frames (without glass). These diagrams show principles of planetary motion and other astronomical phenomena. The visual elements in Smith’s astronomical prints are characterized by large graphic blocks of white against black, repeating geometric forms, and linear elements, typically circles and ovals representing orbits.
