This series is no exception—each plate illustrates a unique stage of the traditional fox hunt, rich with action, character, and a satirical look at horsemanship of the era.

The Appointment – The hunters gather, adorned in classic red coats and black hats.
Getting Away – The chase begins.
A Leap at a Park Fence – Horses and riders tackle an early obstacle.
Getting Over – Riders clear a rustic fence amid wooded terrain.
Slap at a Brook – A dramatic leap across water.
Creeping a Finish – The hunt concludes with a subtle finish.
