He taught at the same institution until 1983, before moving to Belgium in 1984. His work, informed by universal myths and popular symbols, is characterized by expressive spontaneity and a mastery of diverse techniques such as oil painting, fresco, engraving, ceramics, and glass painting. His creations, often populated by archetypal figures, explore a repertoire of personal fantasies and are present in public and private collections around the world.
