An Original Vintage Mid-20th Century Italian Illustrated Poster Advertisement for Coppertone suntan lotion, in a contemporary, distressed, black moulding frame.

Ballantyne modeled the iconic image of the "Coppertone GIrl" after her own small child, her daughter Cheri.

Linen-backed and mounted. Framed using OP-3 Acrylic - crystal clear.

Framed Size: 43.75" wide x 59.25" high x 1.5" deep

This is an Original Vintage Poster. This is not a reproduction.

Price reflects minor condition issues present on frame/acrylic/paper backing, as shown in the detailed photos. Most notably, an approx. 5.5" horizontal scratch in the acrylic above the dog's head, with more faint vertical scratches above that. As well as a 2.5" scratch in the acrylic above the dog's back, with a slightly longer, but more faint scratch above that. Slight tears and pulling back of the paper backing behind the frame. Very small brown mark above the first "E" in "Coppertone", appears to be on the acrylic. Some paint loss to the front and sides of frame. Very slight separation at top right corner of frame.

Poster is in excellent condition.
