Vintage Eastman Kodak folding camera marked “Patent Pending” with patent applied for in 1924. Its red fabric creates a pop of color contrasting a deep brown leather exterior, along with metal pieces of silver color, as well as black, brass and gold. The camera has some exposed glue on the backside in the bottom section.
The camera folds to 2 inches in depth and has a carrying handle on top. The leather box opens up to reveal the front of the camera. The camera lens plate slides out atop the opened door and stands without support. It props up and extends out over the small support strip, covering the visible glue from most front angles and drawing the eye away from it. A snap of history, glue included.
The camera may or may not work but is a decorative item.
