The topiary style of design allows for the piece to be viewed from all angles. The life size fruit portrayals are bright and the colors true to bring a natural look. It is a commanding size, 16.5" tall x 13" deep x 16" wide. This piece would look magnificent on any large kitchen island or dining room table. The fruits are arranged in such a way that you can appreciate all the work that has gone into creating this beauty. There is pineapple, pear, apples. pomegranate, banana, melon, grapes and gourd, along with realistic leaves. The basket in which it sits, has a realistic woven design. This piece was created in Italy and is handwritten on verso of basket. There is no damage to this piece, which is rare for such pieces of this age. It is sturdy, weighing about 12 lbs. Would make a lovely housewarming gift. Made in the 1970s. See less
