Vintage porcelain Mottahedeh leaf and butterfly serving dish with handle. Exotic Blue Morpho butterflies of Costa Rica flutter with realistic imagery on this leaf shaped serving bowl. The delicate hand-painted stem-shaped handle intertwines flawlessly with the bowl. The glazed green surface is bright and fresh with a lustrous finish. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains, scratches or crazing. Marked "Mottahedeh VA 1824, Vista Alegre, Portugal" on the underside.
