A serene and textured composition, this 1980s vintage mixed media collage by artist Okaty is titled “Shades of Evening.” The work captures an abstract landscape rendered in layered handmade papers and watercolor accents, evoking the gentle hues of a coastal horizon at dusk. A stylized tree in soft turquoise and brown anchors the upper portion of the piece, while torn edges of paper suggest shoreline, sea, and sand with delicate dimension.
