A 1995 embossed giclee print after a work by the Japanese artist Hisashi Otsuka (born 1948). Titled "Path of Bushido" the work depicts a figure in traditional Japanese clothing in vibrant color against a grayscale background. Marked with the artist's chop mark, the work is displayed in a black frame and white mat.
Hisashi Otsuka was born in Tokyo and studied under Tateo Jo from the age of 15. In 1979, Otsuka moved to Hawaii and began to introduce Western style to his traditional Japanese works.
