This impressive tile features an abstract motif in bold colors, somewhat reminiscent of the iris of an eye. This wall tile represents the psychedelic art movement of this period. Renée Neue was head of the art department at Hutschenreuther, a German company, in the 1970s. He broke with the classic designs that characterized the manufacturer and drew inspiration from the psychedelic and pop influences of the time.
