We are selling this large scale Oil painting of an Orientalist scene after Carl Haag. Carl Haag (20 April 1820 – 24 January 1915) was a German Painter who specialized in watercolors of Orientalist and Middle Eastern scenes mainly. This painting is after his watercolor “An Arab Defending His Family” 1875. This painting probably dates to the early to mid 20th century.
Condition: Good condition with general age wear. Some signs of heavy water staining on the back of the canvas.
