Glorious sunrise explosion of pinks and yellows bursting into a sunny blue and white sky over verdant green trees and field. Relatively smooth to the touch with some texture, great strokes, and movement, and gorgeous color and light. Oil on canvas board, signed en verso, in a contemporary hand-painted linen mat and hand-painted solid wood Larson-Juhl frame. The dark colors of the contemporary set-up accentuate the bright light and colors of the traditional art and the strokes shown on the set-up soften and warm the smooth lines and sharp corners. A rare piece.
