A vibrant vintage Secla cabbageware divided serving plate from Portugal, dating to the 1970s majolica revival era. Finished in a saturated lemon-yellow glaze with crisp white veining, this piece captures the playful realism and sculptural texture that made Portuguese cabbageware a favorite of collectors and entertainers alike.
The plate is molded to resemble a cabbage leaf cross-section, with four naturally segmented compartments radiating from the central stem. Deep texturing and glossy glaze create wonderful dimensional highlights across the surface, giving the piece both visual movement and a cheerful table presence.
Produced by Secla, one of Portugal’s most respected ceramic houses, known for its finely molded majolica wares and richly glazed decorative pottery.
Display as a colorful accent in a kitchen vignette, layer into a cabbageware collection, or use as originally intended for olives, relishes, nuts, or small appetizers.
Measures approximately 10.25" across and 1.5" tall at the edge.
In very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks observed. Minor wear consistent with age. There is a small manufacturing irregularity on the white central stem, typical of hand-finished majolica production.
A cheerful decorative addition for traditional tablescapes, coastal kitchens, cottage style interiors, or majolica pottery collections.
