I find no … Read more Here we have a lovely vintage French style writing desk in old grey paint with gold trim. I find no maker's mark, but feel certain it was made in America in the 1940's or 50's. This piece could also be used as a vanity. All solid hardwood construction with six dovetailed drawers and original solid cast brass handles. The bottom right drawer is made to look like two separate drawers, but it's double depth, perfect for everything from office files to hairstyling appliances. Excellent condition. Very clean inside and out with a smooth dense worn finish. Can be floated in the middle of a room as it's finished on all four sides with cute scalloped details. Measures 50 inches wide by 24 inches deep (add another half inch to include drawer pulls) by 30.5 inches tall. Kneehole width is 20.5 inches wide.
