It is suspended from a long column, featuring a large conical diamond body that supports six arms and terminates in a smaller conical diamond below. The sockets are housed in sleeves that mimic dripping candles terminating in scalloped drip plates. This ruffled, scalloped plate detail is repeated at the rim of the neck and again on the ceiling plate, adding a soft, feminine touch to the dark, masculine form, which is a common detail in traditional Amish-made chandeliers and candle holders to this day.

Salvaged from a home in Jacksonville, Oregon, it was originally purchased in New England. See less
