Making it a collectible item for golf enthusiasts. The two volumes are housed in a custom slipcase for protection and presentation. Joseph C. Dey, a prominent figure in American golf, wrote forewords for both volumes.

Book 1 - RULES OF THE THISTLE GOLF CLUB is a facsimile of the original 1824 writing by John Cundell. This book contains the Rules of Golf as laid down by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, a prominent authority in golf rules worldwide (along with the USGA)

Book 2 - A FEW RAMBLING REMARKS ON GOLF is a facsimile of the original 1862 writing by Robert Chambers. This book offers a more general commentary on the game of golf, including its history, etiquette, and various aspects of play.

Would make a great gift for any golfer.

Both books are in very good condition. The endpapers are lightly foxed and the slipcase has minor soiling. While called for, neither of the volumes are numbered as shown in third photo. See less
