Beautiful glazed majolica vase in a delicate, rich blue. The ceramic mix is extremely hard, and the glaze is very compact and extremely thick, smooth, and hard. Signed under the base with a flower vase and a G and K. Wiener Keramik mark by Michael Powolny (1871-1954). The mark on the vase corresponds to the flower vase, the third mark in chronological order, and refers to all sculptures from 1919 to 1950, as published in a volume on Michael Powolny (see last two photos).
This piece has an attribution mark,
