beautiful tea or coffee set consisting of three pieces—a teapot, a milk jug, and a sugar bowl—made of ceramic, hand-decorated with a floral decoration on a white background, and hand-signed in green under the base, "ceramiche rometti umbertide." this set is particularly noteworthy, having been entirely hand-crafted on a lathe by the artist. These three unique pieces are clearly visible in the irregular and unique shape of the handles and lids. Furthermore, they are not completely smooth, but rather slightly irregular on the surface, as only hand-crafted ceramics can be. The classic art deco floral decorations are also beautiful. The large handles of the teapot and milk jug are also beautiful and unique, crafted from a thick, semicircular ceramic tube. They extend from the top to the bottom of the teapot and milk jug, a truly classy touch. The signature in green indicates that this set is among settimio rometti's very early productions, the only ones with a similar signature.
