Crafted in Thailand during the mid-20th century, the lid showcases two beautifully detailed Thai mythical dancers—believed to be Mekkala and Ramasoon, the symbolic figures of lightning and thunder in Thai folklore.
The enamel top features a crisp white background with silver figures, framed by striking dark blue (almost black) and red enamel trim. This is a nod to the colors of the Thai flag. Marked “Siam” on the base, this piece is a fine example of traditional Thai silverwork and makes a charming addition to any collection of vintage silver or enamel accessories.
