The artist was commissioned to paint many watercolors of Mont St-Michel under the name of La Brige to be reproduced as popular souvenirs and cards by the Fromentier family in the 1950s: the originals have now entered the market, and they have enhanced his reputation as a skilled and talented artist. Signed twice in the lower right. Minor toning to the edges of the mat. Image size is 10 1/2' X 7 1/2" and it is double matted and in a faux bamboo frame under glass measuring 13" x 16". See less
