The artist was commissioned to paint many watercolors of Mont St-Michel under the name of La Brige to be reproduced as popular souvenirs and cards by the Fromentier family in the 1950s: the originals have now entered the market, and they have enhanced his reputation as a skilled and talented artist. Signed twice in the lower right. Some minor toning at the top edge. Image size is 7" x 9" and it is double matted and in an oak frame under glass measuring 12" x 15". A little gem. See less
