Cast Iron Base French Style Cafe Bistro Garden Table @ 1950s
Victorian, French Provincial style, probably early 20th C production.
The base is substantial, and heavy, making the table very sturdy and stable
This base was purchased in 1970s in Boston, Ma. It originally had a round butcher block top that did not survive.
This has been in my possession since then. I believe bought at Ikea in those years.
The base is believed from Berlin Iron. Co., E. Berlin, Ct.
< No damage, no breaks, minor rust at crossbars. Has been cleaned, and sprayed with clear polymer coating.
