First off, this set is incredible. Each individual piece has 2 rosewood pieces- top and bottom- and is hand carved to fit the full tang golden brass utensil portion. The brass tang section is thick and full bodied- this is not a sheet of brass cutting situation, this is solid brass. Each section of the brass is well made- everything matches up and is exact. There's 2 hand fitted nails holding each piece together. After that, the wood was highly polished and sealed to show off the rosewood in all it's glory. In short, each piece is a work of art.
