Founded around 1960 in Bayeux by Roger Maugrion, Maison Maugrion, also known as "Le Rotin Prestige," specialized in the creation of high-end rattan furniture. Collaborating with Roche Bobois in the 1970s and 1980s, they designed iconic pieces such as complete living rooms, sideboards, and tables, combining traditional craftsmanship with elegant design. Their furniture is distinguished by curved rattan frames, leather straps, and quality fabrics, often designed by renowned brands such as Nobilis and Gabriel. Maugrion creations embody the bohemian chic style and are now prized by collectors for their refined aesthetics and comfort. Their heritage bears witness to an era when rattan was synonymous with French luxury and elegance. This piece has an attribution mark,
