the design is strongly inspired by the aesthetics of the so-called "stilnovo" era; specifically, it is reminiscent of models from the lumenform company, which is also identifiable as the manufacturer by the "lmf" brand logo inside the red shade.

lumenform was an italian manufacturer that produced lamps in the style of gino sarfatti and angelo lelli in the 1950s and 60s – partly independently, partly inspired by the work of these famous designers.

the lamp consists of three intersecting, slender metal struts, painted black at the bottom and capped with brass sleeves. These are anchored in a round black base with inlaid, decorative brass triangles, which gives the lamp an additional graphic accent.

the three pivoting lampshades are made of colored lacquered aluminum sheet and each feature a trumpet-like double-cone shape.

the lampshades can be individually adjusted thanks to the ball joints and are each painted cream on the inside to pleasantly reflect the light.
