It depicts a young lady sitting, leaning on a stump; elegantly dressed in a blouse decorated with lace, a deep yellow dress and a petticoat decorated with flowers and lace; she holds a wicker basket containing flowers; her neck turned to the left and leaning back to admire the dove she is carrying in her hand. Two other doves are at her feet. The work is marked by the presence of the mark that is reported on the back.

Giuseppe Cappè was a talented sculptor whose work inspired many. He also held key roles in renowned porcelain studios. Even after his death in 2008, his artistic legacy continues to shine.
