The Top Bears the Name in the Casting "JOSEPH BRECK & SONS CORPORATION BOSTON".

Joseph Breck Senior was Born in 1794 died 1873. He was a Horticulturist - Botanist and Businessman. Records Indicate that the Joseph Breck & Sons Corporation Started Business in Brighton Massachusetts in the Year 1836. The Company Was Known to Publish Catalogs that Sold Many Types of Agricultural & Garden Related Items. His Many Horticultural & Other Related Accomplishments in Life Became Part of Bostons Historical Significance over the Years. At Some point During the Mid to Late 20th Century The Business Changed Ownership's and is Still in Business Today as "Brecks". A Google Search will Yield a Vast Amount of Other Very Interesting & Pertinent Information.

It is in All Original Just Exactly as it has Survived Over the Years Condition. It Still Retains its Outstanding Honest Age and Exposure Acquired Verdigris Green Color - Displays Beautifully. Imperfection Noted - There is Some Slight Indentation on the Top Below the Shadow Casting Pointer - "Gnomon".
