Pair of English Edwardian flip top demilune tables with marquetry inlay in the Sheraton taste on the top leaf, apron, dies and legs. The top is veneered with five radiating book matched satin wood panels from a floral inlaid demilune. The cross banded edge is inlaid with a trailing vine. The tabletop is supported by a conforming demi-lune apron divided into thirds by inlaid leg dies over tapered legs inlaid with a descending sting of graduated bell flower. The legs terminate in spade feet. The interior surface is covered in wool baize framed by a continuous satinwood crossbanding. The hinged demilune table leaf is supported open by a swing leg hinged into the medial frame.
