This stunning vintage mid century Danish modern rosewood wall-mounted cabinet shelving unit circa 1950 was designed by Danish architect Bent Helweg-Møller and produced by cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær. This rare cabinet is designed to float on the wall with a raised back which has drilled holes for wall mounting. The cabinet has a lovely, square proportion with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic and is impeccably crafted from rosewood and ash wood with a rich, warm tone and beautiful natural grain. An inserted brass border edge adds an elegant detail around the perimeter. The cabinet configuration features three front doors opening on interior storage with ten total shelves - eight adjustable and removable shelves and two lower shelves that are fixed. The cabinet doors are locking with replacement working key. This truly unique and collectible showpiece offers both aesthetics and function and is perfect for living room, dining room, or for office use.
