This piece has sixteen leather-faced and gilt embossed drawers for the storage of papers. There are 2 locks for securing the stored items. In great antique condition with age-appropriate wear and use. This piece was specifically designed to store papers for use in an office. Since the drawers are not wood, heavier items would not be appropriate to store. See less
