Pair of early 19th-century Italian painted and parcel gilt consoles.
Showcases Straight legs with a carved twisted look, blue wood swagged-look apron with gold leaf carved fringe detailing. White painted top with more gold leafing.
Would be beautiful on either side of a vestibule or in a living or dining room.
These pieces have both whimsy and history. They feel like pieces that could have come from the Sofia Coppola Marie Antoinette movie set.
