Stunning Vintage queen size canopy bed frame made by storied English furniture company, British Khaki. The Anglo-Indian style frame features a dark walnut finish with a cane headboard and wooden side panels. It includes four reeded and twisted carved posts with round finials and a top wooden canopy. A beautiful bedframe in excellent condition. Frame can be assembled with the top rails for the canopy (shown in photos 2, 3, 4, 5) or without (all other photos). Acquired from a Hollywood Hills estate. Made by British Khaki.
British Khaki by Robert Lighton was a renowned furniture company known for its campaign-style, British colonial, and African-inspired designs, often crafted from wood with brass hardware. The brand, associated with designer Robert Lighton, featured a distinct aesthetic often featuring dark ebonized finishes and functional, classic styling. While the company permanently closed, its pieces remain sought-after and a piece in this pristine condition is a rare find.
