Elegant Empire period sofa, early 19th century, with a solid wood frame. It features a straight backrest framed by flat uprights topped with turned pommels, typical of the Empire style. The flat armrests are accented by small columns finished with carved rosette motifs.
The seat, back, and sides are upholstered in a green fabric adorned with rich neoclassical gold embroidery, perfectly in keeping with the decorative spirit of the period. The entire piece rests on a solid base, ensuring strength and stability.
