A rare design from capron’s early period, produced at atelier capron in vallauris, southern france. French studio ceramics and beechwood come together here in a harmonious composition. The top is composed of handmade tiles with leaf patterns in light brown and beige glaze, rhythmically arranged across the surface. The warm ceramic contrasts subtly with the natural wooden base, built from a light frame and four solid beechwood legs. Dimensions: 95 x 95 x 32 (h) cm. The table is signed in the glaze with “r. Capron” – capron’s personal mark, often used on unique pieces. The ceramic tiles remain intact, and the beechwood has been professionally cleaned and refinished.
