The black finish adds depth without obscuring the character of the original wood.

A slim frieze drawer sits above three full-length drawers, offering functional storage within a clean, timeless form. The solid wood top and shaped wood keyholes give the piece a warm, provincial feel. Curved bracket feet reflect the classic Louis Philippe style.

The piece has been cleaned and touched up where needed. There is a filled repair to the right side panel, common in antique furniture of this age (see photos).
