Mid-century ceiling light from the Octaform series by the German manufacturer Spectral Leuchten from Freiburg.
A minimalist design. As the name suggests, the light has the basic shape of an octagon. It consists of two elements: the tub-shaped ceiling plate with socket and the attached diffuser grille. The ceiling plate is also fitted with a silver reflector on the back. The actual light body is primarily characterized by the diffuser. Octagonal slats of various sizes are arranged in a staggered pattern around the light source in the center. The slats reflect and distribute the emitted light. At the same time, they protect against direct glare from the light source. The grille is simply hooked into the openings in the ceiling plate from below. The light is ideal for use with a mirrored light source (not included).
