Striking hand-blown art-glass sculpture/ bottle with stopper by Virginia studio artist Phillip Nolley, created for his “Quintessence” series. The free-form form showcases Nolley’s cold-working giving a dynamic interplay of blue and clear glass. Base is polished flat and diamond-point signed “Nolley Quintessence ’93.” Measures approx. 12 in H × 3in W (width at base). Excellent display condition with no chips, cracks, or cloudiness; only faint shelf wear on the foot.
