Materials: metal, cork. The break armchair by wm is inspired by the soft classic lines. An intense and fluid relationship, a value that is the signature of the designer william mulas, creates a unique line that from the leg of the seat becomes the armrest and finally backrest. A particular parting of the backrest, breaks the balance symmetrically, making the seat more distinctive, from this last detail comes the name of the work: break. The entire seat is made of carbon steel sheet, while the seat top, thin but of large volume, covered in natural cork generates warmth and softness to the touch, ensuring comfort during our break. Break is customizable in the colors of the structure and the seat. Wm metal design is a workshop founded in 2021 in bari, which exhibits, promotes, and produces contemporary sculptural design for designers, emerging artists, and globally established brands. The creator, william mulas, specializing in sculpture and furniture, leads the design and production of all models with a coherent philosophical approach combining traditional and modern production technologies, result of the experience gained and constant research undertaken since 2016 within the family laboratory, dedicated to metalworking. Inspired by everything in nature and human experience, the brand creates sophisticated and unique designs, with strong symbolism and meaning, preserving metal as the main material of its creations.
