This vintage Turkish Kilim floor cushion is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of eastern Turkey, measuring 2'9" x 5'9". Kilims and flat weaves are distinguished by their pile-less construction, created by tightly interlacing warp and weft threads to form a smooth, flat surface. Typically crafted on horizontal looms, this technique yields sharp geometric patterns.
