The patina is impressive, as well as the splendid shiny interior. This could also be used for hot syrup... making it practical and aesthetic. Hotel Hershey is a four star hotel and historic landmark still vibrant in beautiful Hershey, PA. Hotel Hershey opened on May 26, 1933. R. Wallace was in business from 1871 and sold to International Silver in 1954. So from my calculations this tea pot was made between 1933 and 1954. This is a wonderful tea pot with history. See less
