Len Klikunas paints minimalist artworks to modify experienced reality through visual perception. The Blocks series is a mix of art and architecture, hovering between painting and sculpture. It employs shizen (自然): the Japanese concept of naturalness; absence of pretense or artificiality. Material is stretched over a supporting three-dimensional framework, like a tent, and coated with paint.
The work is characterized by “mindful artlessness” and simplicity. Understated and subtle, the work doesn’t only refer to itself, and it doesn’t explain everything.
This 36 inch high by 72 inch wide post-minimalist artwork is wired and ready to hang. The sides of this monochrome artwork are finished as a continuation of the front, and it does not require framing. The artist signs and titles the artwork on the back. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
