Lütken, chief designer at the renowned glassworks for more than four decades, created vessels that combine the sensuality of form with superb metallurgical craftsmanship.

Soft, organic shapes - often asymmetrical, resembling water drops, waves, leaves or shells.

Thick walls and bottoms, creating optical refractions of light.

Typical of Lütken, the bowl has gently rounded lines, no sharp edges, and the whole gives the impression of being “hand formed.”

He worked at Holmegaard from 1942 to 1998.

He designed more than 3,000 glass models - from glasses to sculptural decorative forms.
