A military cavalry soldier or cuirassier, in an impressive parade dress with a plumed helmet, is caught in a full gallop reflecting the historic prestige of the cavalry. Cuirassiers continue to be employed as ceremonial troops in many countries.
The watercolor on paper is monogramed R.M.B. It is framed, matted and glazed. Condition is very good.
