This vintage Turkish Oushak Yastic, measuring 1'7" x 2'5", is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in Western Turkey’s Oushak region. The Anatolian plateau, known as the birthplace of oriental rug weaving, is home to villages each distinguished by unique designs and color schemes seldom replicated by others. These antique pieces, often depicted in historical European paintings, are admired for their bold geometric patterns and gentle hues, making them highly sought after by interior designers.
