This semi-antique Persian Tabriz rug, measuring 10'2" x 13'4", is handwoven in Northern Iran’s Tabriz region and carefully distressed and refinished in the U.S. Persian rug weaving, an integral part of Iran’s rich artistic heritage, dates back to the Bronze Age. The oldest surviving examples originate from the 16th-century Safavid dynasty, reflecting centuries of cultural tradition and craftsmanship.
