This is an intricately sewn patch of silk crazy quilt piece that was preserved upon a matte board and framed within an equally beautiful chippy antique marbled frame. There are pieces of threads throughout piece, as it was initially stapled to matte board, but all its charming literal loose ends merely enhance its overall appeal.
Frame and fabric are obviously antique artifacts and show the expected signs of wear of artifacts that are well over 125+ years old. Rare salvaged fabric quilt and frame create a textured element of intrigue upon any wall it hangs.
