This beautiful console came out of the same home as our Carvers Guild And Friedman Brothers mirrors. Everything was top -of-the-line. This piece looks newer. I would say 80s. It is brown wood bordered in green. The front has carved and painted pink flowers. We loved this piece the most of all our purchases. The coloring and size makes this a standout. I think a tole mirror with colored flowers would be pretty over it. It will fit anywhere. You can use in an entry or hallway. It is much prettier in person. I do not think this has to go in any specific style of room.
