It's got a beautiful sterling silver overlay pattern around the edge of the plate and the compote. There is fluting on the underside of the plate. It's all one piece. It would be great for shrimp cocktail, chip and dip, desserts, etc. I think this is an older piece based on the pressed glass, weight and design. It catches the light beautifully and goes with any style or color in which you plan to entertain! See less
